Title: what's your writing skill?
hey guys:
would you consider any kinds of skills when you are writing?Like the grammar,words,or anything~
well,when writing ,undoutedly, i would pay my attention on grammar,although i make mistakes here and there.However,grammar is not of the most importance.Writing is something to convey your feelings,your views,etc,so as for me,content is my main concern.Thus,i'd make my words witty,humorous rather than just being perfectly correct in grammar.
what about you,my dear prospective friends?PLS,be free to Air your oppions...

I think I will take all the elements into consideration. Focusing on one or two aspects is far from enough. English writting should be good from inside to outside~~

wow....from inside to outside..i cann't agree more.it maybe easier to write when our feelings feel like pouring out....

hmm, I'm very poor in English, especially in writting skills. Every aspects seems difficult to me. But what puzzle me most is how to make my writing logical and consistent. So I will focus on the structure of my writting first. As to the grammar or other aspects, I have to put them away for the moment.

hey,dear friend,i cann't see eye to eye with you.To my point,focusing on structure at the begining of learning writing is helpful for passing exams like BEC,coz those exams ask for concise and logical writing style,and they have tricks to follow.But as for me,the real writing must be sth which will give you a thrill coz it comes from your heart...it reads your mind...
well,structure is of couse important,many big writers use special stucture to express different feelings,some even develop their own writing style on structure from which we will recognize them immediately...
another point wanna share with you..if you want to make your structure more english...you'd better know how native speaker think when writing. we'll find it totally different,and i guess you will love to know...

I have just read your reply.Through your words, I deeply realize that you can express your view in English easily, in other words, your English is quite excellent. However, I don't agree with you use the word &quot;wordy&quot;. I remember you have said that you feel easier to write when feelings feel like pouring out. So it's show that you have many words to express your opinion. Then you have written many words to tell me the feelings. So the more words you written to me, the happier I will feel.
