It was an outrageous appreciation when I received your postcard today. I have nothing apt to pay back for your yearn but to write my appreciation down, in order to engrave it in my soul.
As a matter of fact, just a few days ago, I sent an E-mail to a friend who I subjectively assumed monopolizing a considerable proportion of my emotion as you do, but no response.
As time goes by, friendship formed during student-era gradually alienated and rang hollow in the context that most of us got married and engaged in our jobs. I can fully understand the situation that each and every one of us has his or her own business, own family. But this kind of melancholy still made me feel frustrating. Suffice it to say, we were the “pure us”, “true us” 10 years ago.
Your postcard comforted me to an extremely extent for you still remember me, I didn't lose you such a sincere, altruistic friend. For me, a totally Diaos, what else do I require since I have a trustworthy friend as you?
Likewise, we haven't seen each other for years. I wonder how you approve to be, must be as kind and beautiful as you always are, I guess.
How is everything going with you in Beijing? I can imagine the heavy burden one may shoulder while striving in the city comprised of versatile individuals and devaluated diplomas. But I would pay more stocks on you. I believe that you are bound to totally tap the potential inherent in you to be the victor of life through all spheres of your endeavor.
On your contrary, I am vexed by low remuneration and unenviable predicament of grinding poverty. But I assert that we shouldn't be constrained by dearth of material or money. Life is life, family should be top priority. After all, we are not young anymore.
How about Madam Lu? In good health? I can easily draw the conclusion that she is not only a scrupulous teacher, a successful mother, but also a specific mother-in-law, as evidence demonstrated by your perfection.
Well, Madam Lu pulls my memory back to 15 years ago: One of Seven Fairies, the ever No1. I'm afraid none of us estimated we would be friends of mutually trust, mutually value, let alone such measure to deliver benediction after 15 years.
15 years, merely a single moment. It was just 15 years ago I was fascinated by the poem of Chairman Mao on the top. But I haven't apprehended its essential content until “the today” 15 years later.
15 years, when we are soberly aware of ourselves after a series of vicissitude, we suddenly realize that there are zero traces of old friends.
Life is much alike due to its daily rutine, life varies because of so many alterations.
My friend, please allow me to offer my utmost gratitude once again.

今天收到你的明信片，惊喜而又感动。朋友的惦念，无以回报，只能将这分感激之情写下，让这瞬间永驻生命之中。
其实就在几天前，我给一位我曾自认为始终以诚相待，和你一样在我心中分量极重的朋友发邮件，却没有回应。
这几年，随着大家成家立业，学生时代结下的友情逐渐消逝。我理解，每个人都有自己的事去做，都有自己的家庭，但这种失落依然让我感到悲哀。要知道，10年前的我们是最纯粹的我们，最真实的我们。你的明信片让我很是欣慰，欣慰你没有忘记我，欣慰我没有失去你这位真诚，无私的朋友。鄙人一介屌丝，得友如你，有何他求？
想来，你我也有数年未见了，不知道你现在什么样子，一定和过去一样，美丽，善良。
在北京可好？我能想像在那样一个人才聚集的大都市生活，压力有多大。但我相信你，相信你能通过自身的努力，做生活的强者。
和你不同，鄙人却是在为生活奔波。但我想，我们不该被物质和金钱所缚，生活总归是生活，还是多花时间陪伴家人吧，毕竟，我们已不年轻了。
“慧姐”怎样？身体可好？从你身上，我看得出鲁老师不仅是一位优秀的教师，成功的母亲，也是一位特别的丈母娘。
说到鲁老师，竟将记忆拉回到15年前。华育七仙女，年级的第一名，恐怕那时你我都不曾想到我们后来会成为彼此信任，彼此珍惜的朋友，更想不到15年后你我竟会用这种方式来传递祝福。
15年，弹指一挥间。也正是15年前，我第一次接触并喜欢上了主席的这句诗。但直到15年后的今天，才真正领略到它的意义。
15年，当我们一路走来，抖掉成长后的尘灰，蓦然回首，却不知昨日的朋友今天在何处高飞。
人生，那样相似，却真的充满变数。
老朋友，请允许我再次表示深深的感谢。
