An Incident

Hot 5705 views. 2013-7-6 22:15 |Individual Classification:work| wheelchair, minutes, either, gotten, really

It’s really a tough day. My workmate suffer from a disease. I didn’t know the exact the name, but I was told by him that he lack the potassium. Now he had gotten the symptom of can’t move his legs and his arms. I thought it’s very serious so I asked one of my strong workmate to carry him on back to the hospital. Since he can’t stand up by himself, of cause couldn’t walk either. I hurried to walk to the hall and asked the nurse for help. She allowed me to bring a wheelchair and a few minutes later, we brought my workmate to the hall with the wheelchair.

What’s the symptom of lack of potassium?

Arm and leg cramps

The most common symptom of low potassium is an arm and leg cramps. Since your body needs potassium to contract. It makes sense that without it your body could cramp up.

Vomiting

In severe cases of low potassium levels vomiting can occur. In less severe cases a patient may just feel nauseated.

Terrifying. That is why people should take more food that gives sufficient vitamins and minerals.

Most people believe that drinking bottled clear water is healthy, but what people don't know is that bottled distilled water comes without essential minerals. Problems can arise due to lack of electrolytes. Magnesium, Potassium, Bicarbonate, Chloride and Sodium. Make sure your drink bottled ''mineral'' water and not distilled water. Any one mineral missing can be serious.

Magnesium deficiency can affect virtually every organ system of the body. With regard to skeletal muscle, one may experience twitches, cramps, muscle tension, muscle soreness, including back aches, neck pain, tension headaches and jaw joint (or TMJ) dysfunction.

Severe magnesium deficiency can result in low levels of calcium in the blood (hypocalcemia). Magnesium deficiency is also associated with low levels of potassium in the blood (hypokalemia). Magnesium levels drop at night, leading to poor REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep cycles and unrefreshed sleep. Headaches, blurred vision, mouth ulcers, fatigue and anxiety are also early signs of depletion.

    * Low energy
    * Fatigue
    * Weakness
    * Confusion
    * Nervousness
    * Anxiousness
    * Irritability
    * Seizures
    * Poor digestion
    * PMS and hormonal imbalances
    * Inability to sleep
    * Muscle tension, spasm and cramps
    * Calcification of organs
    * Weakening of the bones
    * Abnormal heart rhythm

So you can see how dangerous lack of minerals is. Make sure you have  sufficient mineral intake otherwise you would have to spend a lot of money on expensive medicine later.
