One of my friends went to Nantong city to buy an apartment as investment several days ago, as friend I went with him to look around what interested him to invest Nantong city. The main reason I thought as a new high-speed railway was putting into practice in the next years. It will be involved greatly in Shanghai "one hour economic circle. As everybody knew the housing price has gone a lot since many years ago and almost after a huge wave of rising of house price, the government would take more strict policies to suppress the trend of continuous rise. Unfortunately, it didn't work even more the price of housing got a high level after a series of regulations policies. Maybe based on the past experiences, my friend betted the price of housing may get a peak in next years. I am not sure the view of my friend whether it is okay or not, it may need some times to verify it. But, in terms of housing price in Nantong city, I think it is more reasonable than other cities which around the Shanghai such as Suzhou or Wuxi.
Anyway, I sincerely hope that my friend made a good choice, and got good earnings.

- When it comes to the house, we more or less experience this increasing price. And the price keeps soaring that most ordinary people just find it hard to afford it.
Though now strict regulations carried out to control the real estate, it takes a little effect on those megacities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. That is because, in those developed cities, there is the guarantee that the need of housing currently still faces the strong demand. So long as those cities keep vibrant development of the economy, the housing price will remain at a high level.
Nantong is so close to Shanghai as same as Kunshan, thus, we see the potential demand of that housing price still keeps increasing. The outskirt of Shanghai where connects its neighborhood, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, which are two of those most developed provinces, benefits the geographic advantage. Thus Nantong enjoys this convenience from being close to Shanghai.
And it also depends on what a distract the house we buy as the means of investment. If we got the wrong place, even it closes to Shanghai, we have little chance to see its appreciation of that house your friend has purchased there.

- I think the house price of the cities around Shanghai will be rising in the future. Because more and more business and population will overflow from Shanghai to the around cities. The price of house is about 10000 in Kunshan, 20000 in Suzhou besides 50000 in Shanghai. The gap is so huge. I have gone to Nantong before, the economic of nantong is not so good now and the house price soaring in the past years. The price will rise in the future, But it will wait a long time . Is your friend prepared for a longtime investment? Best regard

- I do not have any ideas for the house price in other city, just take my hometown as example, in the small town , when we bought the house in last October, the house price is 5400 RMB, now the price reach to 8K-1W RMB per square meters. My suggestion is that if you can afford the down payment , go action to purchase it , the early, the better. Do not wait for the house price will be cool down.
