About art topics — talk with Chawee teacher

Can we talk about art topics? for instance music, drawing, dancing, movie or take a photograph. In fact, I don't know these professional knowledge, but I am merely able to appreciate it. I have been to France's Louvre Museum, where I saw many works of art. Mona Lisa’s mysterious smile showing art's eternal charm. I enjoyed them very much.
Chawee is my English teacher. She is a Filipino. Talking with her online is my first time to speak with a foreign teacher. She is a young girl the same age as my daughter. She is an artist and teaching music in a university. Music is her specialty, but I think she might understand color more. Because her clothes are rich of colors that matches.
Entry of color study is very simple but very difficult to master the subject. For example, some people, although wearing branded clothes, but lets a person feel something is wrong. The reason is they didn’t know about matching colors.
To grasp the principles of color is a gift and needs a lot of practice. Although I don't understand art creation's method and skills, I can able to appreciate beauty, and understand what art really is.My home decoration style is my own idea, all of my friends say it is very good.
