Useful tips: How to improve listening skill?

As a business English major, I have learned English for more 10 years. Today I want to share some listening skills with you.
First, I have a old method that help me pass many exams. Every night, I keep listening the English passage before go to bed. I just listen and try to understand its meaning. Almost every night I will sleep with the English. This process doesn’t need too much time. Keeping listening can make our ears familiar with English.
Second, dictation is also a very effective way. Maybe at the beginning, you make many mistakes. However, after practicing more than 10 passages, you will find dictation is interesting and easy.
Thirdly, I believe many ladies like watching American drama, such as Vampire Dairy. During we enjoy the beautiful actors, we should learn the tone and words they use.

- listening skills is so important,no matter in daily interaction or entrance exams.My score of CET-6 is not ideal becase of hearing.I like watching English movies and TV series，such as <Inception>（盗梦空间）,<Titanic>,<under the dome>(穹顶之下).It will stimulate your sensitivity in English,also,like you said, learn the tone and words they use.Hope we having more fun in learning English.

- Your methods are really useful. I also wanna recommand aother method to you. We know that Americans speak English quickly. The reason is that they use the skills of liaison, skimming, voiced sound in their sentences. It's very important for us to know about the rules of these skills in pronunciation. Only if you read the word correctly can you listen the passage clearly.
