In the afternoon, I took part in a job fair held by China Telecom Corporation. When waiting in the creeping long queue, I just listened the crowds talking about their arduous experience of finding a job: “I have cast almost 20 resumes, but I haven’t got any feeds.” “Why does you want to be a member of China Telecom Corporation?” “I don’t know, maybe because many friends have got an offer, but I get nothing, so I’m a little bit anxious and desperate for a job.” “My father let me find a job in a state-owned enterprise, and I don’t know what I really want to do, so I come here to have a look.”......

After hearing that, I left the queue,deep in thought. I don’t know why most of us don’t know what we really want to be after such long-term advanced education. We just strive blindly for a good job that others defines,which may be well-paid, decent and comfortable. Just few days ago, I heard a speech of the founder of “Eureka”(a training institution which concentrates on experiential learning) , she mentioned that what she really want children know isn’t the knowledge, but the ability to think freely and know how to plan their lives. It impressed me a lot not only it let me see there have been some people are doing their utmost to discard the dross of the present education system, but also she make me rethink about myself and our generation. None one had realized the importance of life plan and taught us to have own thoughts when we were children. We just study,study,and study, we don’t know what we really want. What a pity!

Upon arriving dormitory, my roommate just came back from work, wearing a depressive look on face. I asked what’s wrong with her, she told me: “upon thinking that I nave to go to work tomorrow, I feel very sad. You must choose a job you really like, otherwise you will also suffer from this.” 

Looking at her glassy eyes, I told myself: “Just do the I like, to be a soldier! Yes, you can!”
