The Truman Show

Last night I watched this grate movie again.
Truman has been living in a studio since he was born, and his whole live,24 and 7 , is on the show to all over the world. His wife,his parents,his friend, everyone in his life is actor.
At the end of the movie, Truman stands at the exit of the big studio, the director of Truman show, Christof talk with him,
Truman: Who are you?
Christof: I am the creator of a television show that gives hope and joy and inspiration to millions.
Truman: and who am I?
Christof: You're the star.
Truman:Was nothing real?
Christof:You were real.That's what made you so good to watch.Listen to me, Truman,there's no more truth out there than there is in the world I created for you.Same lies,the same deceit.But in my word, you have nothing to fear. I know you better than you know yourself.
Truman:You never had a camera in my head.
Christof:You're afraid.That's why you can't leave.It's okay,Truman.I understand. I have been watching you your whole life.I was watching when you were born.I was watching when you took your first step.I watched you on your first day of school.Hen,hen.The episode when you lost your first tooth.You can't leave,Truman.You belong here...with me.Talk to me.Say somethings.'ell, say something,god damn it! You're on television!You're live to the whole world!
Truman: In case I don't see ya',good afternoon, good evening and good night. Hahaha! Yeah!
That's the end of this story.
I was wonder, would you choose the world that is built for you only or the real world but full of lies and deceit?
And this question reminded me the episode in The Matrix. The agent said that at first ,they built a perfect world without pain and sadness for human.But it was a disaster. So they built a new Matrix, more like a real human society, and people love it.
So ,is that our nature that we need go through some pain,some hard time in our lives to make our lives real?
And in the Truman show ,I think most people would choose the world outside, but what if you are in the Matrix? what would you choose?

- Anyway, it's horrible to live in a planned or designed world. We have own destiny, but the key is no one knows what it is. The precondition is that we are the only director for our play if agree life is a drama. I have not watched The Martrix, but I am curious.
