Every spring festivals, my father in low would like to the nursing home where is 24 hours service during A Yi absent, because A YI go home for a month during Chinese holiday, but this year, my father in low would like go to her youngest son home, so no need us to see him frequently, That’s why Tiger can leave to somewhere during the holiday. On the third of Lunar year, we were flying to Zhan Jiang where is his mother’s home town, and I went there once at 30s year ago. That’s mean this is my revisiting the old place.

There are nine brothers and sisters in his mother’s family, most of brothers and sisters are still in home town except a few of them in Guang Zhou and Wu Han city, this return home town was a really exceptional time for our big family.

In my old memories, Zhan Jiang is a small town which is near the sea  separate two parts, the narrow path in between was go in and out by bus at that time. Right now that is all changed to the wide highway, the small river beside the road was all disappears. The husband at the downtown is the tiger doing nothing, only drinking the tea or smoking heavily, but the wife is nonstop doing anything at home and always keeping smiling face from their deep heart, without any complains, because this is the traditional culture, so I was so afraid to marry like one of them if I was there, that’s why the man like having the wife from southern of China, compare with Northern.

Surely eating and eating from morning to the evening, from this relatives to another, sometime I cannot know who was whom, I only know if somebody was carrying the baby I need to give the red envelop, the people in Zhan Jiang like eating and drinking, I forgot smoking they like, and they were speaking so loud in public, like quarrel each other, the local accent was hard to understand for me, so sometime I like a fool sitting quietly, but I can feel the warm atmosphere and welcome to see us.

I have visiting the old house where I lived in before, and to see the old tomb of the old generation, to clear and burn the incense even I don’t believe Buddhism for them.

The people is right now chasing sprite satisfaction than go in for the material comforts, so I do so, I do think I have a really good Spring festive compare with all the years in the past, the pictures I have taken with them with full of memories I can recall in my life. just show some of them to you now.
