In recent years, with the rapid development of technology, cars are gaining much more popular in most of cities. However, this situation has caused a serious problem. It is time for us to pay more attention to traffic problems and seek out the solution.

In my opinion, the most serious problem is the traffic jam. A large number of cars block the road, hundreds of people sitting in their cars, waiting anxiously for the cars moving. Some impatient drivers blared the horn, which caused noise pollution. And the automobile exhaust caused air pollution.

To be frank, I think what caused this problem is the rapidly growing population. Firstly, people nowadays are addicted to car using. The convenience of using cars urges more family to buy cars. What’s more, because the population is growing at an alarming speed, the speed of broadening  roads cannot meet the demands of cars, thus caused the traffic jam. Last but not least, people’s wealth make the demand for cars even larger.

So for my part, the possibly solutions are listed as follows. To begin with, we should still carry out the family planning policy to limit the population growth. Secondly, the government should pay more attention to infrastructure construction. If more four-lane roads are built, the traffic jam will become much less. Lastly, the government ought to levy heavy tax on cars. If the price is much higher, the demand will be smaller.

In summary, if we make great effort to solve traffic problem, I am sure it will be solved in the near future.
