Yesterday, a new batch of students came into our school. With great passion, I volunteered to pick up new students at the LuKou airport. I saw their happy faces and curious eyes, which remind me that I had the same look the first time I came to Nanjing. I was curious about all the things I don't know and I was also a little nervous about the unknown things. Adding to my distress was the homesickness after my parents left. I felt lonely and couldn't settle down to study. But now I've changed a lot. I become more composed and confident even if I get into problems. What's more, I feel more clear-minded when it comes time to make the big decision, because I've learned how to scientifically analyze the merit and demerit of my choice. And the most significant thing I learned is the meaning of going to college. We need to become better and find our true selves by trial and error in college. Thus, I arrange my life more meaningful. I study more hard and try to make good use of my spare time. I take part in volunteer work and overcome my shyness. I'm on the way of finding my true self.
