My first day in college

It was a lovely day with white cloud and breeze. I got up early in the morning for the reason that the freshmen are around the corner. As a sophomore student,I was pretty proud of my experience and I'd love to offer help to those who are in need.
There were many people on campus with confused expression on their faces.They were all in a rush with big luggage towards their dorms.Volunteers can be seen almost everywhere to help them guide the way. What these people did reminded me of my first year in college. I was at a loss when my parent drove off,leaving me alone in the totally strange place. I felt helpless and nervous and I even didn't know what to do. Afterward,I decided to wander in the new campus and got familiar with it . For fear that I might made mistakes about whereabouts.Unfortunately,I got lost as I thought. Then,a sophomore or even higher grade student came to my rescue and led me to a right lane. She consoled me by telling me her embarrassed moment. I was so grateful to her. What's more,she said that we will stay here for at least four years anyway,so don't be afraid of here but regarded the place as where your dreams start. After hearing what she said,I should say I really got more than I could receive.
It was a day worth remembering,so did the senior.

On my first day in university, i also felt exciting and a little nervous.One hand, i became a half independent girl from the moment my parents drove off, i could arrange for my own life, on the other hand, i am afraid to make mistake in this totally unfamiliar place, that will be very embarrassed.: )
