There is one saying goes, the tree would be quiet, but the wind blowing. While children would like to support, parents can't wait. 

  While a majority of people would have a sense of regret, I should have prepared well for the exam, or I should have spare more effort to learn new things, etc. However, I believe the most regrettable things is that we only care and love our parents when they left. 

   There was a sad story about a single mother and her poor son. The little boy live without his father when he was young. All his father left for them was a small cottage in a remote village. For sake of providing the poor boy the chance of education, the mother made full use of her time to acquire money to support the expensive tuition, never complaining the unfairness of the society. To the mother's comfort, the boy is intelligent and hardworking from primary school to college. He was so thankful for what his mother gave to him, not only his birth, but his life and the change of his destiny. He had promised to gave her a better life--a big house, elegant cuisine and free time to do what she ever wanted to do. Everything changed when his mother suffered from a heart disease on account of overwork. What' more, she died just days after. Pitifully, her son even couldn't catch the last eye which became the biggest regrets of his life.

    So, don't let shyness become an excuse for not expressing love to your parents.
