Cook Curry Rice

On Sunday during last winter vocation, suggested by my friend, I decided to cook curry rice by myself.
In the afternoon, I went to the market as picking out and purchasing potatoes, carrots and onions of good quality are the first necessary step. In consideration of the difficulties of dealing with raw pork, I thought it's better to make vegetarian curry rice for the novices like me. Then, I went home and started to prepare those ingredients. First, I cut clean-washed vegetables into small cubes, which cost me too much time because my skills of cutting are not quite proficient. Besides, although I dipped the knife in water and kept my head away from the cutting board as soon as possible, my eyes still drowned in tears. So I had to stop to let them recover. After that, I turned on the stove, poured enough oil and stir-fried the vegetables for a while. Next, I poured plenty of water into the fired cubes and added curry blocks bought from the supermarket. I kept stirring them ever and again until they were boiled. Last, I just needed to put them fully on the rice.
Before this experience, I had always thought that it was very easy to practice after all I could buy ready-made curry blocks. However, in that process, I found that even the least thing in my mind, for example, how much oil should I add, needed to be taught by my mother. So we can't judge one thing easily from its appearance. Experience is the best teacher.

- Wow. That sounds interesting. If possible I would like to eat the curry you cooked. I tried to cook the spaghetti when I was in junior high school, but I failed and the boiled oil hurt me. From then on, I never cooked anything
