November 11th, known as China's Single's Day, has become a shopping carnival since 2009. According to the report, Alibaba's trading volume amounted to 120.7 billion yuan within 11 hours on that day, which surpassed the last year's total. I am not surprised at this data at all because I have witnessed the disordered scenes in Cainiao post houses last year.

 In some people's view, it is an excellent chance to buy luxuries and necessaries at a low price on Singles Day and this carnival not only benefit consumers, but also manufacturers and traders. What's more, the tremendous sales on Alibaba's platform, such as Taobao and Tmall, reflected the level of consumption of Chinese people is having a great boom in recent years. Therefore, we really should cheer up for this annual shopping gala.

As far as I'm concerned, it's not advisable to clean up our pocket buying unnecessary products because of their"low price". Furthermore, numerous rubbish used to pack parcels would be left and consumers' personal information is likely to leak.

All in all, shopping on Singles Day has both advantages and disadvantages, we should keep a cool head during this day. As for me, I have not bought anything last Saturday because I am so poor.
