As we grow older, we tend to read and hear more and more motivating sayings, which are usually named "Chicken Soup for the Soul". Theoretically speaking, we should be encouraged and inspired by them and have the desire to love ourselves as well as the whole world. However, as far as I'm concerned, we ought to keep a critical attitude towards these seemingly inspiring "gold sentences".

We can tell this is a representative essay of "Chicken Soup for the Soul".Then, what is the main idea the essay aims at conveying to us? It is not advisable to work hard as the poor and the rich actually have the same life. Admittedly, we can't deny that this positive attitude makes sense to some extent because we should not attach our happiness to the possession of money only. Nevertheless, I don't advocate this kind of life as hard working provides us not only money, but also more choices and senses of self-worth. On the contrary, what the fisherman can get is the shadow only.

In conclusion, we should learn to regard the world rationally and have our own point of view towards some controversial issues rather than follow the other's opinion unreasonably.
