NUIST, established in 1960, is one of the national key universities in Nanjing.Though I have heard a number of complaints about it since I entered this university, I still love it very much.

Go along Zhengqi East Road from the main gate, we will see a sports ground, a gym on the right and Training Building, Administrative Building on the left. The gym is where the freshmen register. To move on, Qunying Bridge, which is above Qunying River, will come into our sight. On both sides of the river grows a row of willow trees, so it is of great pleasure to stroll along the river. Between Qunying River and Ningliu Road, there are student dormitory, Meteorological Building, Wende Building and a basketball court. Keeping walking and after we finished the"washboard" , we may find the road is not straight any more and more buildings, including Mingde Building, Shangxian Building, would jump into our eyes. If we take several twists and turns and catch sight of a beautiful lake on our right hand side, it is highly possible that we can't help staying several minutes to appreciate the fantastic scenery around it. The west area of our campus may be what we call "Xiyuan" or "Binjiang". In this area, there are a stadium and more superb view.
