It rained, with a stiff breeze, with thunderclap. The strong precipitation made it cooler, even cold, that we put on coat. After a day’s classes, students rushed into dormitory instead of going outside like every Friday. However, I had to keep an appointment.

My roommates: Wang Yu, Liu Hui and Feng Chen, three seniors who would finish their graduation debates next day, went out with me for dinner. We had spent two enjoyable years with each other. In the past two years, we have respected each other and helped each other. There has never been a conflict in the room we shared. To be honest, they are quite excellent and taught a lot. Two years later, Wang Yu entered the graduate school. Liu Hui and Feng Chen found work. Now we are all facing separation.

We chose a Japanese restaurant in Hongyang Plaza finally. Although I did not like solar food, I still did not refuse. At the dinner table they discussed the plans for the future, and I listened quietly. There was a kind of unspeakable jealousy in my heart. In them, I seemed to see myself two years later. I suddenly felt that time flies, but I haven’t really grown up. I can’t afford to take up heavy responsibility.

It made me so sad.
