<p> My teacher asked us to deliver a speech on our hometown. What noticed me was that all of the students had mentioned the specialty of their hometown. It is obvious that food is not only a fuel to provide energies for human beings but also one of the constituents of human culture. One of the most cherished civilizations, Chinese culture is going to the world.</p><p> Firstly, China has eight big cuisine such as Cantonese cuisine, Anhui cuisine, Sichuan cuisine, etc. Each cuisine can date from a long time ago and be closely related to local physical geographic environment, weather conditions and so on. Sichuan food, for example, which chefs always use chilies to against humid climate. Secondly, all kinds of Chinese traditional festivals always be bound up with food. Chinese eat dumplings in Spring Festerval , sweet dumplings in Lantern Festival, and eat moon cakes in Mid-Autumn Festival, etc. There is one more point , there is a very big difference in entitling food between China and the west. Chinese food's name is implied because of its hidden meaning and stories, while western food's name is so clear that when people hear the name, they can know what they will eat.</p><p> Recently, a hugely popular TV documentary series A Bite of China makes China proud. What's more, worldwide Chinese resturanrs serve not only Chinese but also foreigners who fall in love with the taste of Chinese food.</p>

- As a kind of Chinese culture, Chinese diet consists of many conceptions. It not noly stands for food, but also refer to inspirit. Cuisine of your hometown, Anhui, is very famous home and abroad. I hope I can try native Hui food one day.
