Forrest Gump is a 1994 American epicromantic-comedy-drama film adapted from the 1986 novel of the same by Winston Groom. After seeing it, I want to shave some feelings with you.

The story depicts several decades in the life of Forrest Gump, a slow-witted but kind-hearted, good-natured and athletically prodigious man from Alabama. Gump witnessed, in some cases, influenced, some of the defining events of the latter half of the 20th century in the United States. Firstly, from a person of feeble intellect's standpoint, audiences can look back some historical events in America like African-America Civil Rights Movement, Vietnam War, Ping-Pong Diplomacy and so on in a different angle. What's more, the stories about Forrest and his friends moved me deeply. A slow-witted is always the victim of bullying and Forrest is no exception. Fortunately, Forrest's mother, a persistent and tough woman who never gave up his son, always encouraged him to live a normal life just like ordinary people. She said that life was like a box of chocolates, people never know what you are going to get, which supported Forrest in trying different things all the time. Stupid as he was, he became a star athlete, a legendary soldier, a successful merchant at last. There is no doubt that Forrest has done the best with what god gave him.

Actually, the film is very funny because there are many amusing plots. For example, when Lieutenant Dan and Bubba first met each other, Dan asked, what's wrong with your lip. Bubba answered, I was born with big gums, sir! And then Dan said, well , you better tuck that in! Gonna get that caught on trip wine. It is true that the humourous communication in the film attracts my attention.

All in all, Forrest Gump is an excellent American movie which I would like to introduce to you.
