HIV testing should be made mandatory?

Hot 3450 views. 2017-9-20 17:29

According to the World Health Organisation, there is an urgent need for HIV testing across the globe, which means an increasing number of individuals are diagnosed and afflicted with AIDS. The uptrend should be contained with the help of society as soon so possible. Consequently, part of people in various fields has put forward a proposal that an universal mandatory HIV testing to every citizen should be made in an effort to prevent AIDS and reduce infections.

As the experts said the sooner you were diagnosed, the quicker you could begin treatment and start to feel better. I believe the testing is indispensable for those who are transmitted by AIDS and shamed of it, and there are plenty of persons who contracted AIDS, but are reluctant to go to hospital. Why the HIV-undiagnosed patients do not want to confront the disease and are shy to talk, and I think we all know the reasons. AIDS is mortal after being diagnosed, and they probably feel depressed, even desperate. Additionally, people still have prejudice and discrimination against AIDS and the majority of us refuse to approach the group. Accordingly, most of them choose to face the brutal reality alone.

For me, HIV testing should be made but whether to be made mandatory, and we still require further and deliberate discussion.

I believe most of us will feel frightened even we just hearing the word HIV, but the best way to solve this problem is facing it, it's the first step. In my views, HIV testing is necessary but not in a forcing way.

There is a big group of HIV patients and some of them are so young, what a pity it is for them. I think we can understand why many people are unwilling to do the testing, but actually HIV testing is so simple and just needs a few minutes.

I believe no one would object to the testing, but the bone of contention is that whether the testing should be made mandatory. I agree with your point of view outright.

I think HIV testing should be made mandatory and free organized by the government so as to reduce the risk of contracting AIDS and get proper treatment as soon as possible. Shame or life, we can only choose one.

True, life is the most important thing and is the base of everything, but the reason why most HIV patients would rather cheat themselves that they are healthy than face it and do the testing is mostly our society. From this point of view, the testing maybe needs being made mandatory.
