I finished watching a film named Legend of the Demon Cat, which was deeply attracted me for its plot, technical effects and gorgeous hunks and girls. It is an adaption of Japanese fantasy novel. What impressed me a lot is that this Japanese author is so interested in Yang Yuhaun and the history of the Tang Dynasty. There is a funny romantic clue in film, Bai Long' s obscure affection for Yang. I have to say, I was so excited about their affection that I surfed the Internet and found a fan fiction about them.
Yang Guifei is famed for being quite plump. She was one of the few obese women in Chinese history to have been considered beautiful. Yang was known for her full build while Zhao Feiyan was known for her slender build. Yang' s slightly overweight, which was a much sought-after quality at the time.
In short, the film brought us a vision feast about the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty and the beauty of Yang and her sorrowful ending.
