As everyone knows, a smile is a common expression, but it has an extraordinary effect on our lives. From my standpoint, I've always believed that smiling has a magic power that can help us face life with optimism.

  There are dozens of reasons behind my belief. First of all, a smile shows our confidence. With a smile on our faces, it shows that we have full confidence in our abilities, and that we can interact with people in an unassuming manner, so that people can have a sense of trust and are easily accepted by others. Secondly, our smiles reflects that we are honest, kind and friendly, and treat people with sincerity, so that people naturally relax in their interactions and unconsciously shorten psychological distance. Finally, smiling makes us feel relaxed. For example, when we walk up to the stage, we're nervous and even emotional tension can be linked to physical tension, such as shaking hands, shaky legs, and tension. This is when we should be standing up with a smile on our faces, and this smile is given to ourselves. And when we walk up to the podium, we have to make a smile, which is for everyone. These smiles can defuse tension.

  From the above, we can easily see that the power of smile is strong and beneficial. Therefore, no matter what difficulties we have, we should face life with a smile.
