Student-student and student-teacher relationships in my college

With time going by, I have already been in college for over one year. As a college student, it's very important for me to handle the student-student and student-teacher relationships properly which is the bridge of communications.
In my opinion, I think the relationship between students is based on common topics. When we have some common hobbies, it is likely that we will be much more closer to each other. When I feel upset, they will try their best to cheer me up, and there is no doubt that we will share our happiness to each other. However, we can also have different hobbies that can arouse our interests in different fields which can broaden our horizons, making us be a better man.
As for student-teacher relationships, I think respect is the foundation of them. Students show their respect to teachers by listening carefully in class and finishing the homework on time. Our teacher's respect reflects in giving a good-prepared lecture.
In fact, the relationships in college do great differ from those in high school. We have to pay much attention to handle them well.
