A &nbsp;Great &nbsp;Drama&nbsp;<div>This week I completed watching a great TV drama made by ten years ago which called My Chief and My Regiment. As a drama with war theme, it gave me crazy feeling about the war more than seventy years ago.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;It is not the fist time I watched this drama, years ago when I watch it I was too young to comprehend it, so I hoped I could appreciate it by heart. Therefore I watched it again , and it is still engrossing. I sum up its exceedance the characters rich features, no lines, no extra lens, black humor, genuine and sincere, all of these factors have created an excellent work.</div><div>&nbsp;It was a story about Chinese Expeditionary Force that happened in Yunnan in the course of the Counter-Japanese War. A castaway officer called Long Wenzhang pretends to be a chief to lead routed troops to block the Japanese, and fled back to China from Burma, it was Long who gave the relief to the routed troops to survive. After Long led a victorious war, he became a real chief who can just lead roving rebel bands because of his deceit. He was a brilliant officer who could only lead "scumbags ", when faced challenges, he showed his talent and leadership again and again, eventually , he and his "scumbag soldiers "completed a core mission after a great sacrifice, his subordinates were few and far between, and finally survived.</div><div>&nbsp;Duan Yihong, the leading actor in the play, is my favorite actor. He plays Long Wenzhang penetratingly.</div><div>&nbsp;My Chief and My Regiment , beyond all about that are one of the greatest dramas I have watched.</div>
