I would really like a productive life, but sometimes it is a bit of struggle. Here are some tips that help me stay on track. 1. To make a to-do list
I am absolutely lost without a to-do list. I try to write out a to-do list every morning just before I begin the day. Sometimes if I am overly anxious about a project or a looming deadline, I wil make a to-do list the night before. That makes me feel like I am getting a jump start on the day.
2. Give yourself small rewards for completing big tasks
I don't know about you, I am all about rewards. It might be something as little as " Once I finish all my reading, I will go make myself afternoon cup of tea". Rewards don't have to be about money or things, get creative and find small ways to motivate yourself to hustle.
3. Avoid addictive time wasting activities
We-chat can be a trap. Smartphone and internet games can also get supper addictive. Avoid these when you are trying to get something done. Also set limits for "minimum time wasting". It is Ok to need a mental break but don't get sucked in.
4. Be realistic
Sometimes things don't come together as we had hoped. Sometimes a task turned out to be more physically demanding than we thought. Maybe seek out some help if you need.
