For a long time I have been listening to English novels, watching English movies, reading English articles and novels, memorizing new English words and learning English grammar. But it seems that my progress is very slow. I still can’t understand what the English speakers says very well, and there are still a lot of ideas and things I can’t express freely in English.

      So I was frustrated. I told many people that I was good at English and I knew how to teach others to make them learn English well, to make them can feel their progresses every day. I have to say that I am not bad in English and I do know the right steps of learning English and I do can make others make progress step by step in learning English. But the problem is it is hard for me to make an obvious progress for myself now.

       Bearing this thought, I began to think from the very beginning, which is what’s the purpose of our learning English. Then I find a solution.

       For me, the goal of learning English is to be like a native English speaker, who can express any idea in English, who can communicate with anyone in English fluently and confidently. And I know deeply that this is the right idea of learning a language.

      One day, when I was browsing the “Top news of today”, I encounter a video which tells the right steps of learning and mastering English well. And I deeply agreed with what it says.

      According to the video, there are just four simple steps to ensure you learn English well and make progress every day.

      Step 1, try to name everything around you in English, such as the furniture in your house, the cooking tools in your kitchen, the fruits, the food and so on.

      Step 2, try to describe a simple action. Like, I saw a old lady crossing the road when the traffic light is red. Or I had two pieces of bread for lunch today. So on.

      Step 3, try to make a schedule of what you need to do today. What you need to do in the morning, what will you have for lunch, who will you want to go out with in the evening.

      Step 4, write a diary recording what you have done today, what interesting things had happened.
