Travelled by air

18 years ago, I took my first flight when I was getting my first job as a tour guide.
On May 1st-Labor Day, I was instructed by the travel company to take a bunch of tourists flying from Guangzhou to Kunming where is a big city in Southwest China.
As the distance is not very long, it took me less than 2 hours to finish my first flight.
After that, I often flew all around the country.
The most impressive flight during my time as a tour guide was from Shanghai to Guangzhou in 2007.
After taking off, the plane soon went through a rainstorm. Because of the airflow, it flew up and down and the passengers felt extremely unsteady.
Suddenly the plane dropped nearly 10 meters and all passengers in plane were screaming. We all felt our bodies were out of control and what we could do was nothing but to fall with the plane.
A woman sitting near me, who had been frightened out of her wits, swore as she was crying that she would never take a plane again since we would have landed.
After changing my job a couple years later, I t ook my first flight to go abroad that was from Hong Kong to Dubai, this time I was a tourist.
It took me 9 hours to arrive in Dubai, during which I was having an uncomfortable and boring journey, as I had never taken such a long trip before, I was too anxious to fall asleep.
However, after we had finished visiting, the trip that we flew back was much comfortable.
It took us a mere 7 hours to arrive Hong Kong, for the Earth rotates from the west towards the east and our plane was flying follow its direction.
In May 2014, I was flying from Hong Kong to San Francisco which is my most distant flight.
It took me nearly 15 hours to arrive at the airport.
We left China in the morning and we arrived in America in the morning as well.
People have a vivid saying to describe this sort of situation, which called Red-Eye Flight, for if passengers arrive at the destination without having slept last night, their eyes are likely to be red in the morning.
