What is the relation between happiness and success? As far as I am concerned, success may bring about happiness, but a happy man doesn’t always have to be successful. Happiness is a state of mind, while the state of feeling successful is only part of it. Most people are not with success to a great extent, but they still live happily.

A man constantly with the sense of failure will never be happy. However, while in the eyes of the else someone has made little showy achievements, this man may still know that he is distinctive from the crowd. What he knows is one thing, that is to be confident.

In actual fact, confidence doesn’t have absolute connection with success, which in its worldly definitions are wealth, fame and the others. I never believe there are people who could be really small. For example, my mother, who is not well educated and plays mahjong every afternoon, but has supported my entire family since my father passed away a long time ago.
