increase salary

this noon my college told me the new comer came here with the basic salary double than mine. OMG!!! terrible uncomfortable. though i just stepped into this office less than half a month, hearing that i was upset, no so passion for this company ,this position for me. how can i have a talk with my boss to increase my salary? one month later or what time??? help!!!

- In fact, asking about other colleague's salary is not allowed in office, so you had better do your work well first of all.
You can ask for salary increase untill you make some progress in work.

- moli: In fact, asking about other colleague's salary is not allowed in office, so you had better do your work well first of all.in fact, i just feei some unfair. why do them get that reward,we are the same condition(moreover, my diploma is higher than them with a second language). only they pointed that high salary,so boss promised to them, but me . asked lower than them.so i think if you have an interview, reccommodate a high salary as you you say,,,no matter how high it is, be brave!!! pls don't do it like me...hope you good luck!!!

- I have the same experience as you, when I work more than three years, my boss did not increase my salary, but the newcomer just step to office, his salary as high as mine, I really angry for it, then I write a letter to the boss to express my mind, a little lucky,now I get the increasing salary.

- This is your first job,Learning and adapting is the most important things,don't pay more attantion to the salary.
There are many many unfair things in the sociaty,you are not in the university,just adapt it.
With the different position,there must have the different salary demand,before ask for increasing salary,ask yourself first,what have you done for the company.
You college have the double salary than you ,she will pay more effort for this salary,boss are not stupid,they will never let you relax by high salary.
Keep insistance and do more work.
