When I left the room, I fetched a book and put it into my bag. All this morning I didn’t take it out from my bad. In this afternoon, I spared my time to read this book which was bought 2 years ago. And I just read a few parts of it. But I picked it again and realized that I was no mood to read it. Why? I had to admit that some new words and sentence structures were not familiar to me. And I tried my best to put my heart into it, but I still didn’t have any understanding of the first several pages. Apart from some new words, I didn’t understand what the author wanted to express in such sentence structures. Sometimes, most of words which I know didn’t help me a lot. I was kind of powerless to see these sentences. It appeared that I tried hard and hard, but it made no difference to me. In short, it was not comfortable to understand the first chapter.

It seems that most of words I know but do not know what the writer would like to express. It’s hard for me to understand completely. Actually, when I read it years ago, it was very hard but I stuck to reading several chapters. But now, I think I could understand it better than before, because I am more confident and acquire more words. Strangely, the fact is not what I image. The fact proves that I don’t make any progress at all. That is why I have the same way as before.

This outline of the book is well-known, but I want to know the detail and figure out the features of every character in this book. On the other hand, I also feel like improving my English reading comprehension and learning about the writing skill by reading this book carefully. The dream is wonderful while the reality is cruel. At this moment, I am not sure if I will continue to spend time on it.
