We failed in basketball game yesterday

Yesterday a competitive game of basketball had been taken place on the playing-field of our company. We had to admit that it's also a long time that we didn't take more exercise to keep our fine physique and improve our basketball skills,but our competitors had made many and full preparations for this potential war. By comparison, They were much more strong in body and more big in size although we may had much more spiritual power than them.
In the group everyone keep their best outburst of enthusiasm to face this game and our competitors.At the beginning of competition, We successful scored a new high with 10:5 points, in the meantime our groups created lots of scoring opportunities.Everybody thought We would win the game include our esteemed basketball judges. However,with the time passing by our fingers, We found it's increasingly difficult to beat our competitor for our more and more weak body. Later the competitor quickly caught up with us and even drew away the scores.
As a result, we failed this game eventually without any profound regret.
In this case it's also a great success if i will get some philosophies in my spirit soul.The most important consideration is that if you would like to lead to success, you have to toil for it, to prepare for it and to keep your dearm forward all the time .

and your comments are extremely right. Seven days ago i read an essay said :"the most fear thing is the man who is more superior than you is working hard all the time but you are watching TV,playing dull game..".

I had several bad experiences in past period . For example, I failed to make a successful speech without adequate preparation. As you said more efforts must be necessary to lead to success.
