Experience at last weekend

Last week , I posted my email address and a brief introducion at a website which help people to find a foreigner so they could practise speaking languages together. My Gmail soon received a mail from a American. He write a long letter and he said himself full of wonderful stories. He have studie in MIT and now he is working for Muslim culture. We exchanged our phone number and decided to have a meet at last Sunday.
To ensure the security, I called my friend Ivy(a chinese girl) to come with me. Actually, while walking around YongHeGong, we had a good talk and I did really appreciate his kind heart. He always listened to me carefully and then corrected my sentences or words, patiently.
But something became out of my control. In the late night, I got a his sms in which he told me that he missed me very much. To be honest, I was a bit freaked out by his massage for his expression. After asked my best friend's advice, I immediately replied him. "well, I have to make sure that we are just friends working together for a common goal----oral language . Sorry if i misunderstand." There was no reply from him anymore.
So, my dear friends, if you want to find a foreigner, you should collect and check his/her information as many as possible. Even he/she gives you real and enough personal info, you shouldn't relax your vigilance because there are still some situations that you had never anticipated.
It 's not a piece of cake to find a proper alien friend. Compared with culture thing, language is not a big deal at all....
