Simple Perfection

In our pursuit of perfection, we often overlook that we ourselves are already a work of perfect making. Instead, we focus too much on appearances and seldom ask what truly matters. Perhaps it’s better not to notice those meaningless things at all, and instead devote our attention to what we genuinely need. Thus, we no longer feel nervous or anxious, and can take pleasure in the process of living; otherwise, life becomes a tough trek. We need not set lofty expectations; it is enough to act sincerely, with honor, and to do things well enough to earn what we receive.
