In recent years, the university ranking is quite popular. And the ranking is measured by scale, prestige and teaching resources.

      The viewpoint about the phenomenon varies from person to person. Some people think the ranking is beneficial for the graduates to choose the right university. What’s more, it can make the competition of university fiercer, so it also can stimulate the universities to improve themselves from every aspect. The consequence is to promote our educational condition. However, some people hold different idea. They believe the ranking will cause some undesirable effects. Such as some universities may bribe the authority to get the prestige and the good ranking.

    From my part, I think the ranking is like a coin with two sides: It has advantages and disadvantages. And we can’t ignore anyone of the two sides. In a word, we should make full use of its merits and avoid the disadvantages.
