I am not in a right mood these days, my boss finally decided to leave the company. He was the first one hired for this business and built up the team. the business is running better and better and the team getting bigger. But unfortunately the contracts valume is not counted to the local mangement in China but go outside China, so the team explosure and recogniztion is never acheived. all team is struggling for the non-sense situation with busines growing but team breaking.
one more issue, I believe i am doing the best in my section but in the past 6 years, individual does not have any chance to develop, and there is no chance to be brough up even you have the passion to take more responsbility and contribute more, you dont have the chance, you dont have the support. More frustrated thing is the successor is transfered from the other business unit, which is nothing to do with my business model. how to continue? how he manages and support the team? I have doubts and concerns how to get along well with the new boss.
what I plan to do: be professional to handle the business well, show respect to the new one, watch him how to perform.
I expect that he shall not instruct me too much of how to make the business, but to focus on the team building up, try to bridge the team and the managment, try to promote the team, then we can cooperate welll.
there is too much uncertainty, I cannot do anything but to treat myslef properly, perform properly.
