A woman crying upstairs

Hot 7745 views. 2016-1-16 15:10 | around

Every night around 2 a.m. I hear a young woman crying for one hour on the home above me. This has been happening for 3 months. At first, I thought it was just normal arguments. One night, I went up to take a look but door was closed but the lights were on. The crying goes on every night. I cannot sleep. Can anyone tell me what to do?

There must be something happened to her, but if she wouldn't like say anything, you had better leave her alone, for there must be some reasons made her keep silence. If we don't know the reason, we cannot help her, except she ask for help.
Advise: If this continue last, I advise you tell the policeman. If you cannot sleep well, I guess that you maybe rent another house.

agree with you, if it bothers the writer too much, rent another room which is convenient now during the New year festive. It is really frightful crying everyday around 2 am.

You may resort to the help from the community committee or the policemen.  If it does help, you may consider changing a new place.
Such a case really shivers extreme cold from the back hearing of the weep in deep night.

Many people talk or have some habits in sleep. I guess that maybe the fact that the woman weeps during the midnight is due to too much pressure and stress during the day. Honestly, if I were you, I would get freaked out and really have no idea what to do. But I still like to share my point of view with you and I hope it can help you somehow. I think you can tell the building-superintendent if the place you live have one about this thing and ask him to talk with that woman or maybe you should change your sleeping time for a while and make a plan for moving to another place.

Oh dear, what a scary thing this is. You are struggling between your own conscience and your power or ability to help her. Seems this is not something you can handle on your own. There is no way to know what is going on in there. It could be a simple case of lost love or a man mistreating a girl, or she might be having some serious mental problem. You are a girl so it could be risky for you to approach her directly.

However, we are all people with compassion and we cannot just do nothing when another person is in such sad and depressed condition. It could drive her to unimaginable extreme or perhaps suicide.

Our friend Noah.Xiang above has a good suggestion that you write his QQ number to her door or you can write your own QQ number there.

It is so sad to hear somebody crying every night. I wonder what is happening to her. Proceed with caution. Take care.

Thanks all the good advice. She is still crying softly every night. It is disturbing my sleep. My eyes are all red every morning. I have now put a paper on her door with my contact details and QQ numbers. I ask her to write to tell me why she is crying. I can help her if she need help. I hope there will be answer soon. Waiting.

She called me last night. She said she is is from another province come here to work. She met a boyfriend at work ad lived together. When she became pregnant, her boyfriend left her. She is afraid to go home tell parents. I told her I don't know how to help her. Comfort her a little. That is all I can do.
