Befor a performance master entered on the stage, his student told him that his shoelace had come loose. The master gave a nod of thanks, went down and tied it carefully. After the student turned back, he went down and unlaced the shoelace.

A looker-on saw the whole shoot and asked in puzzlement: “Master, why did you unlace the shoelace again?” The master answered: “Because I’m going to act a role of tired traveler, long hike makes his shoelace come loose, by this detail I can display his tire and wilt.”

“Why didn’t you tell this to your student directly?”

“He could carefully find my shoelace come loose and tell me with enthusiasm, I must protect his enthusiasm and give encouragement to him in time. As for why I unlace the shoelace, there’re much more chance for performance in future, and I can teach him next time.”
