Our past education told us to own things instead of abandoning things and knowledge wasn’t burden. I was a perfectionist and tried to keep everything perfect.

This morning I kept keys in the same bag with mobile phone and hence my mobile phone screen was scratched by it. Looking at the ugly scratch, I felt really sick and always thought of repairing it. Just think about it, what’s the use of repairing it? What’s the use of mobile phone? I mainly use it to call and read. Does the scratch influence my reading? Not at all. So why should I keep my mind on this kind of trifle. My friend Change can use mobile phone with a crushed screen. As long as he can read it, the crushed screen won’t become a problem to him.

In order to make a tree grow quickly, we always cut branches so that the trunk can grow quicker. In order to realize our dream, we need to ignore trifle. Sometimes a man is bitten by a poisonous snake and has to cut off his arm to save life and we should have this kind of courage and wisdom. We’d rather live with a broken arm instead of dying with a complete corpse.

Abandonment is kind of wisdom, also perfectness with the appearance of imperfectness.
