At the same time, one of our triple heroes Wong recently graduated from Black College. All his classmates left. He had to stay in college to prepare for his make-up examination, or else he wouldn’t get diploma, which was the necessary part to get a job to earn bread. The dammed subject Circuit made him fail to get diploma.

    He had his principle and decided to pass the exam by his own ability, yet he had failed for three times. Maybe he wasn’t destined to learn Circuit well. His faith was shaken and had to think of other ways to pass the exam to get diploma. He knew he didn’t have the ability to pass the exam, no matter how hard he tried. In desperation, he tried to seek roommate Vain for help, but the guy was impotent and made Wong fail for the third time.

     He knew several guys had cheated to pass the exam, but desisted to behave as them. He was proud of his faith, but now the pressure of life broke his faith. He sought Brave for help and knew he was an expert on Circuit. This time he thought he found the right guy.

    During the exam, Brave sat in opposite classroom to wait for examination paper. Wong also prepared several pieces of ginger. Wong knew he also needed a partner. He consulted with the guy sitting right before him, and the guy agreed instantly for he was in desperation too. Without pass the exam to get diploma, he would have difficulty to find a job too.

    Only for several minutes, Wong ate all gingers to have perspiration. He told the teacher he had a painful stomach and needed to answer a call of nature. Judging from Wong’s pale and sweaty face, the teacher thought it was true, or else it wouldn’t make sense to go to washroom after only a few mintues. So Wong took his exam paper outside quickly and handed it to Brave in washroom. Brave received the exam paper and then sat in the opposite classroom to finish the exam paper in half an hour.

    Half an hour later, the front guy knew it’s time for him to go to toilet to get the exam paper back. This time the teacher wasn’t in suspicion because forty minutes had already passed and there was only twenty minutes left.

    The front guy got the exam paper back and was upright to let Wong copy it first. Though the exam paper was only the first part which was full of choice questions, it already had sixty marks. Both of them copied quickly and also tried their best to answer essay questions of the second part and even went out in advance.

    Wong got result on the following day and found Brave answered all choice questions right. Choosing people was really important and finally Wong relaxed to get his diploma. He couldn’t flirt with teacher like pretty girl students, he couldn’t threaten teacher like a freak, he couldn’t learn circuit by hard work, yet he invented a method to find a ghostwriter to pass the exam to get diploma. Wong felt he had to obey survival of the fittest provided by Charles Darwin.

    Getting his diploma, he decided to leave Black College and had no feeling at all. He gave all his property away, books to his bosom friend Bell, who was a freshman girl, electric fan and other things to administrator aunt. He hated selling them for money, which was like betraying old friends. After all, they had accompanied him for four years.

    While other people were looking for job, Wong was busy preparing for exam. He always played poker on the Internet to avoid the cruel real world. By chance, he knew a couple Wave and Ping working in Peace. They promised they could introduce him a job and Wong was overjoyed. That would save him a lot of trouble.

    Then he returned home to see his parents. The summer of hometown was really beautiful and peaceful, however, didn’t belong to him. He was an adult now and had to work to support himself and future family.

    Mother knew he was reluctant to leave, but had no choice. Anyhow, Wong had a small package on his back and left without even turning around once to have a glace on his lovely home.

    Coming to Black College, the roommate of Bell gave him his train ticket to Deep. Wong invited her for supper together and thought it was probably the last supper for them. He knew he could get her as his girlfriend. Now since he couldn’t support himself, he really had no mood to care someone. Seeing her tender face and beautiful eyes, Wong cried bitterly in heart, “Probably love is really a luxury for poor people such as me.” Having said farewell to his beloved home and girl, Wong really didn’t know what was still left in life for him.

    It was the traffic peak of summer vacation, so many people went to have vacation and students returned home or went for work. Wong had no seat on the train and was forced to stand for a whole night without closing eyes for a nap. He was twenty years old and had to depend himself to earn bread from now on.

    He heard there were many thieves in outside world and put his hand to grab the only property---4,000 RMB for a whole night.

    Finally the train came to Deep railway station, it was already dark. Wave was happy to receive him at the railway station. After an hour of riding on motorcycle, they came to Wave’s residence. Wave’s mother offered a table of dishes and treated Wong as an honored guest.

    Ping was an attractive woman with fair skin. Wong thought she was like his big sister and he knew their romantic life. Wave was poor and became an apprentice at sixteen years old. Ping’s whole family despised Wave, thinking him was useless and couldn’t afford a family. It was true because Wave liked gambling. Sometimes he lost all his money and even had fermented bean curd for a whole month.

    One day, Wave thought being an apprentice in hometown had no future and decided to go to Peace. Before he left, he asked Ping, “What’re you going to do? If you love me, please go with me, I promise I’ll try my best to make you happy. If not, you can stay at home, we’ll become strangers from now on.” After thinking of a whole night, Ping eloped with Wave to Deep without consulting with her family.

    Now Wave was director of a workshop and Ping was director of another workshop. They had a happy life together with their son and Wave’s mother. Wave was interested in computer and let Wong teach him a lot. Wong was happy he could be useful for they treated him really well. Wave’s mother even washed clothes for him and wasn’t even allowing him to wash a bowel. Finally a little warmness was penetrating his troubled heart.
