I had lunch with my boss and my director today. He had never invited me for lunch before and decided to use lunch time to tell me what I needed to do.

      I had to lead the technical team to serve the customers, be project manager to manage DSL and PON projects, be general manager to do business with Pakistan, be network administrator to manage networks of the company. Jesus, I had a lot of work to do and I knew salary raise meant more pressure and responsibility.

      Now I was familiar with technical things because that was I used to do in the past. I needed to lead a technical team from now on, which meant I had to make full use of them. Project manager of DSL and PON, I needed to make sure the products come out according to the requests of customer and also with improved quality at the same time. A network administrator, I used to do that, actually, I tried to be a network administrator in Huawei before.

      Actually, the most challenging thing was being a manager to in charge of business in Pakistan. I never did anything related with business before, however, I knew the importance of business skill. Being rich and powerful, that’s every ambitious man’s dream. Being powerful seemed not possible for I was born without any background. Being rich, one had to get business skill.

       The four things were my four tasks in work. As for myself, I needed to learn English to the same level of Chinese. In detail, I could finish all English books of history, literature, business and management. Of course I could not let my technology go, I needed to learn HCIE so that I could keep the hardware skill of a network engineer. Besides, try to practise my English and network.

        Writing is my hobby now, I can write something to activate my brain.
