My hometown annual grand party

Several days ago , one night ,a grand party called "年例" by us was held in my hometown,I was wonder whether this custom is exist in your hometown. That night,all of the residents went to the street to watching performance and celebrating together,felt the festival atmosphere together.
To participate in this party,I end my part-time job up in Guangzhou ahead of my schedule. Meanwhile, I can stay at home for several days before i go to school.Thinking back of that night,it really was a wonderful night.When I went to street with my little niece,there were already so many people there,men and women,the old and children,boys and girls. Can you imagine how excited my niece she was??! She looks like a little bird which is getting rid of cage,all things are strange to her and she wanna to touch everything she saw.
It's about 8 o'clock,firewall were booming in the black night, sometimes it looks like a mushroom while sometimes it would be a rose.People all stood in the street corner ,enjoying that wonderful scenery. Moreover,i thought we have no any distance in that moment,we all enjoyed the happiness in that time!
"游花街"，have you ever hear that? Many children,the performers,were dressed up as different characters on the vehicle,following by two "lion".The troop was very huge.We many people , especially children were followed it.So,the troop would be more huger in the next second!
After those activites,the most expectant performance was coming.The song and dance ensemble was about to show their performance,that's no wonder that the night in the town would be a sleepless night...........

- Poon, your pictures quoted from qq?? maybe, but here can't be seen. from your description, surely a wonderful traditional custom in your hometown. i guess all of the people must be excited in this showing. you too certainly.
