I finished the book named “notebook” the other day. I felt touched deeply at the bottom of my heart, which was completely different from the way I feel after I watched the movie.

I begin to read the book right after the movie because I think it is a great love story with a happy ending. I’d love to read things without twists and tragedies. Even though I learnt that Allie developed a disease which caused her to forget things that happened in the past. But, as far as I am concerned, they are still together. They get to see and spend time with each other every day. How is that not enough?  

There are several pages in the last part of the book that impressed me most. Noah, according to the book, who was too old to change, struggled to see Allie after that little accident. there are words that say:he realized as he watched her that he was nothing but a passerby on a busy city street, forgotten forever and it is over between them.

And then it clicked and I got the answer, yeah, they were still together, but they would never be us again for there is no connection emotionally. They are not soul mates anymore, which matters a big deal in both of their lives.  

Fortunately, Allie recognized him again, and things came back to the way they were at that moment. And the end of the book.

That is true love and it conquers all. 

Follow your heart and find your true love no matter what, it just worth it.
