There is a famous program in China called the temptation in dinner party. Actually I do not think the name has anything to do with the show itself There is a game involved. In the game, the hosts and guests sit around the table. They are invested with different identities, and they need to keep it to themselves. There is a hunter, three wolves, a witch, a prophet and two civilians. When the game starts, all of them place their arms on the table, with head resting on them. Then a voice come around, saying : wolves, open your eyes and make sure who you want to be killed. The wolves contact with eyes and gestures and decide with one victim. After that, they close their eyes and bend over the table again. They are capable of killing anyone, especially those who was likely to have magic function. No one else knows what happened. And then here comes the witch. He or she opens eyes, and learning the fact who was killed just now, and whether he or she would like to use the antidote to save or kill anyone else, of course, she is not totally sure who is the bad one and the antidote is a one-time thing. And the then the prophet gets to open the eyes and check the identity of anyone. And then they all open their eyes and talk about what just happened and whom they recon as the wolves, of course with excuse. Anyone can be lying, and all they can depend on is themselves and the speech/the movement/the expression and stuff from others and then make a decision after analyzing. Everyone gets to vote one. The top one of the poll was out, and if the hunter was dead, he was allow to take anyone out. The game ends with a winner, which lies in the number of people in each part, wolf part or the civilian part.

Deep down, I have no intention to say much about game, even though I love the hosts to the most. The woman is so pretty and kind and elegant and the man is so full of energy and humor and wisdom. It’s just in the game, you can never trust anyone, bec everybody is capable of huge deceit. And sometimes you can’t even trust yourself, bec when you think sb is a good gay when he talks so sincerely and logically that there is no way he could be a bad guy, and the fact turns out totally different. Your world is upside down at that moment.

Most of the time, I only take it as a pastime until the episode I watch recently.

At the beginning of the game, I get that the host M (the man) and H(the woman) come from different parts. They are opponents. But H trusted him so much and at the crucial round, she gives him a good people card while he isn’t, the real innocent one is out. and there is only one round left. H felt upset, and had a bad feeling that she might be wrong. She roared and asked M: I just can not believe you are the bad gay, I trust you so much, are you lying to me? M could not say anything but smiling. Everyone closes the eyes, according to the rule, and the wolf is entitled to do what he wants to. Instead to kill the civilian to win the game, he killed himself. When H learnt the fact that M didn’t want to fail her, she shed tears.

With that slow-motion, and with music on, and the pictures of them that worked together displayed in front of the TV, WOW, the atmosphere is so sensitive and I am touched.
