The last time I wrote a blog on dioenglish was nearly three years ago, the year I graduated from university.
Time flies!
Now I have a comparatively not-that-bad job, a stable income, and a fiance.
Speaking of my fiance, I will marry to him this October. Back to 2012, on the last day of the year, I saw him for the first time. It is on a snow-covered mountain (Mount-Z in the following) that I saw him. He was holding a camera, taking pictures of the grass in the white virgin snow, strikingly handsome. I was with two of my friends and he was alone. We were hiking towards the same direction. But he walked faster. I took pics with my mobile phone. And his back was left in my pictures, rested in my computer and the memory of his back stuck in my mind. We were stangers.
And a year later, in December, 2013, there comes the serendipity! I met him for the second time, on the same mountain-Mount-Z. We became lovers ever since. You will definately wonder how will it happen? It was all another story. As a maple-tree lover, every autumn when maple leaves turn red, he goes to Mount-Q to take pictures. To get better photos, he wanted to go to the mountain on a right time when the leaves are in their redest. In November, I went to Mount-Q with friends, took a picture of some green maple leaves, and posted it on Weibo. He searched weibo and left a comment to my pic, wanted to make sure whether most leaves turned into red or not. And I replied politely. Later, we followed each other on Weibo, talked for some time, and decided to meet in person on Mount-Z. Then we fell in love.
What a serendipity! Serendipity, Serendipity! (Serendipity is a word I just learnt on Zhihu.com)
I let him see those pictures I took a year ago. He said, yes, the person with his back to the camera was him. He did climbed the mountain on that day. Wow, I was amazed and could not believe the truth and the coincidence. Even now, I still feel it's incredible. And that was the happiest thing I have ever had in my 20-some-year life.
