Life stays busy! I'm still around and very busy today (see new blog). I Also write in Chinese at http://lang-8.com/330589. Several things have happened. We decided to rent out our guest house. I officially retired, but still work full time. My son is in China for three months. His wife's baby will be born any day now. He married one of the students in my weekly free English class. If you study Chinese, it may bring you grandchildren, I discovered. My son's wife died a few years ago. In March, I will travel to China with my son's 18 year old step daughter so she can meet her new sibling. In April, my wife will go to California for two weeks to take care of my daughters four children while she and her husband go on vacation. Next winter we will go to China (her first trip). I'm having new windows put in our guest house while she is gone. She is in North Carolina with the 18 year old (who is still 17 now) and will be gone for three months while my son is in China. I have to research papers to edit today and two tomorrow. I walked 4 miles yesterday and worked in the garden for two hours. When I say I'm busy, I mean it! HA! I'll keep writing here over time. Just been busy the last few months making all this happen.

Hey Steven Loong. Happy to hear that. I enjoy sharing with friends here. It is like talking to good friends. Sometimes it is nice to know that I am actually helping them overcome problems in daily life and English knowledge. We also like to read the things you write about too. Your blog about fear of losing your mother is to touching. Yes, Facebook etc, is quite tiring with too much show off postings. We all have so many that we can talk about here to make life more worthwhile and happy.
