Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pneumonia, I have stayed at home with my son for dozens of days. Seeing the serious situation in most cities of China, I have never been felt so helpless.

I should go back to my hometown in Shaanxi during the spring festival, but I gave up the idea when I saw the news. So I called my parents, told them to buy some medical masks and some medical alcohol, but they turn a blind ear to me.

Days later, all the people were finding the resources to buy masks regardless of the price. Although I bought 50 pcs online for them, it really took a long time for them to get the masks, because most of the roads were shut down.

Once I was a teacher in the kindergarten, and have a kid my own, I am keeping masks and basic medicines in my house, that’s enough for my family.

Because of the coronavirus, I have to stop my free English class for little kids. It’s kind of public lesson we open in the Pingshan District Shenzhen, we have already had about 6 lessons, I teach kids basic English such as letters, words, numbers, simple dialogues but in a very fun and interesting way, we singing and dancing together, each of the class, we have a family game that kids interact with their parents, so they really enjoy the time. But now, I have to stop it, what a pity!

A part from the daily routine, I teach my son the classic poems of Tang Dynasty recently, and we learn to recognize the Chinese character too, he can recognize about a hundred, but I find out that all his interests is lies in English, he can sing the English chant again and again for the whole morning, but when we were learning Chinese, he always said “that’s enough”.

 On Saturday, I will be a volunteer to check the temperature of the people who comes in and out of the place where I am living, you see, as a party member; I finally have the chance to do some thing meaningful. My husband will take care of my son on that day, and then he will go to work on Sunday. He had started his work a week ago, you know, only the person, who stays where he lives, and does not go anywhere is only permitted to go back to work. But he told me that, each day, they were checked the body temperature for many many times.

During this special period, what should we do? Wash ur hands often, go out less, be positive, stay cautious, be safe, hope we will overcome this difficult time very soon, cause, I really miss the smell of sunshine!
