Memory about the second heavy snow in Beijing

877 views. 2009-11-30 23:45 |

Casting the mind back to that time, we had a funny day at school, visited by the second heavy snow in Beijing. Having missed the first unbelievable one, we wouldn’t let another glorious chance slip by again. Mrs. Chaos, our professor, who was outgoing and always knew how to enjoy life, turfed us out of her classroom; “Take time to indulge, luxuriate in sunshine, snowball fights or snowmen… anyway, forget the class.” After finishing these words, she disappeared without any trace. We rushed out of the classroom immediately, shouting, jumping for joy, and cheering.

Fights began. There’s always someone chasing after me, throwing balls at you, and not allowing your fighting back. Snowballs attacked you on all sides, with some flying over the heads and shoulders, and also some successfully penetrating into coats, fully enjoying an exciting adventure all through one’s body. Being busy with making snowballs, Li seldom had chance to put her products into practice, and there were always balls coming immediately into her face before she could make out who’s the enemy, so you can predict, after the war, another snowwoman was born.

Did return Mrs. Chaos ten minutes later than us, but we forgave her immediately when she explained that she had brought us excellent pictures taken from outside. Just at that moment, with a big snowball flying into Chaos’ direction, Ping’s shriek diverted Chaos’ attention from the camera, and promptly, she made a sudden dodge to the left, survived from the sneak raid. To show her gratitude to Ping for saving her, and also as a revenge on us relatively, she promised to reward her with more points.

This piece of writing has been finished just now, still simple and rough. Recalling those words from mind seems anything but challenging, on the contrary, it reminded me of my childhood in the countryside, when seeking pleasure was my major work everyday.
