I’ve made a habit of lurching from one misadventure to the next recently. After 7 days returning from the isolation hotel, where I had to celebrating birthday on my own, my right thigh was scalded with boiling water today. “Enjoy when you have to suffer something.” Were to make this sentence sound thoughtful originally, ultimately I depict my character as a masochist who gloomily enjoy pain.
After taking the shower, with a pot of hot water carried to the dormitory, I felt too relaxed when taking the stairs to take any notice of legs’ brief faintness which was always well controlled but this time; the unexpected turned up, my right leg stumbled on a staircase, regained its balance, but finally enjoyed a bath of boiling water once more, which can be exactly defined as “getting to eat his own dog food” mocked by me if I wasn’t also attacked by intense pain immediately. On loosing off a terrible yelp, I rushed into the washroom, turned on the tap, and let the icy water cooled down the scalded part of shin, which had already been in a strong red color. Thanks to roommates’ thoughtful attention, you know then what my right thigh were treated——honey, which was said to have an still-unproved treatment on scalded cases, and also an electric fan, with cool air mixed with monthly accumulated dust that nearly sent me back to the isolation hotel once more.
Thanks for your kindness and sense of humor, my friends. It’s also my treat today——one roasted ham with honey.
