Decades later, in an information age, our human beings have raised that to a higher level. A broken heart, once exposed to the public, will not only run to many editions for entertainment, but for the mass to judge, gossip over, vivisect and slaughter.

A 17 years old girl died. She threw herself off the building, while many people, online and offline, were watching, expecting, and even celebrating her last moment of this world.

The whole process was broadcast live on the internet, and it had become a great opportunity for many to step up their WeChat moments and get the “best” shot.

When she left a message on the Moments before she died, she was shouting out the last cry of help. However, there were no answers.

People assumed that it was a bluffing, a pose for attracting attention. People assume this, assume that. Just like two years ago, when she was sexually harassed by her teacher, people assumed that she was just imagining things. When she summoned up all her courage to speak it out, to seek justice that she pretty much deserved, and there was no justice, people assumed that she could accept it just as accepting that it sometimes rains. At the age of 17, she didn’t die from suicide. She was murdered, sentenced to death for the crimes that people had assumed.
